The two new smartphones, the LG K42 and K52, were launched in select markets last September. The company is now gearing up to launch these smartphones in the Indian market. The BIS certificate listing hints that the devices will be launched in the Indian market soon.
The LG K42 and K52 are budget smartphones. Although the company has not officially released any details about the launch of these devices in the Indian market, it can be confirmed that these devices will be launched in the market very soon as they are listed on the BIS certification website.
According to Tipster Mukul Sharma, two new LG smartphones with model numbers LM-K420YMW and LM-K520YMW have been listed in the BIS certification database. The model number was also found in the FCC and Bluetooth SIG certification listings. These phones have already been launched in some markets in South America and Europe.
LG K42: Features
The LG K42 comes with a 6.6-inch HD + punch-hole display. The device with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage space will be powered by Octacore MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. The device will also have a quad camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, 5MP super wide sensor, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro sensor.
The LG K42 comes with an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. Other features of this device include 4000 mAh battery, MIL-STD-810G certification, side mounted fingerprint sensor and Android 10 OS based LG UX.
LG K52: Features
The LG K52 has a 6.6 inch full vision display. This device is powered by Octacore. The device will also have a 4000 mAh battery. The device has a squeaky quad camera camera with a 48MP primary lens. It also has a 5MP ultra wide lens with 115 degree field view and two 2MP sensors. The company has also installed a 13MP selfie camera sensor inside the punch-hole cutout. The device also comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
