The company is all set to add another handset to the IQO Neo lineup, the IQ Neo 5 Vitality Edition. The new smartphone will be a tone-down edition of the original IQO Neo 5 smartphone launched in China in March. The company has shared a teaser on Weibo confirming that the smartphone will be unveiled on May 24th. However, the company has not yet revealed further details about this upcoming special edition. The smartphone has previously been found in multiple certifications, and the official teaser reveals the display design received by the IQO Neo 5 Vitality Edition. If you look at the teaser, there will be a punch-hole camera cutout in the top right corner of the display instead of the center punch-hole design featured in the original model.
Features of IQO Neo 5 Vitality Edition
According to previous reports, the upcoming IQO Neo 5 Vitality Edition handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor. This handset is said to support 44W fast charging instead of 66W fast charging. It is rumored to feature a 144Hz refresh rate this time around. The IQO Neo 5, on the other hand, has a 120Hz display. The company has not yet revealed further details about the other features. The display size and camera module are said to be similar to the original edition.
The IQ Neo 5 comes with a 6.62-inch FHD + AMOLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution and HDR10 + support. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC processor, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB of expandable UFS 3.1 storage. Originos based on Android 11 runs on custom skin top. The handset comes with a 4,400mAh battery.
In addition, it includes a triple rear camera system, 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor and OIS support, 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, 120 degree FOV and 2MP mono sensor. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera. The IQO Neo 5 Vitality Edition may offer more sensors. Therefore, there is no guarantee that the other features will be similar to the original model. It remains to be seen whether the IQO Neo 5 Vitality Edition will be available at a higher price than the original model. This special edition is expected to arrive in India. This is because the original IQO Neo 5 is on sale in India under the IQO 7 Moniker.
