Lenovo has launched the Legion Phone Dual 2 in the global market, the successor to the Lenovo Legion Phone Dual that hit the market in July last year. The device comes with great features including dual cooling fans, ultrasonic holder triggers and a side mounted charging port. This device comes with many features to enhance the gaming experience. The device features a pop-up selfie shooter and two rear cameras.
Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2: Price
The Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2 12GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at 799 euros (approximately Rs 71,000) while the 16GB + 512GB storage variant is priced at 999 euros (approximately Rs 88,800). The device is available in Titanium White and Ultimate Black color options. The phone will go on sale in selected markets in Asia Pacific and Europe next month. In China, the device was introduced under the name Lenovo Legion Phone 2 Pro. The device is available in two color options.
Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2: Features
This device runs on Android 11 based ZUI 12.5 and has dual SIM (Nano) support. The Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2 is powered by a 6.92-inch Full HD + (1,080x2,460 pixels) 8-bit HDR AMOLED display. It has a 144Hz refresh rate, 20.5: 9 aspect ratio, 720Hz touch sample rate, 1,300 nitz peak brightness, HDR10 + certification, 111.1% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and TV low blue light certification with no glassy gore. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also provided.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SOC. The Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2 comes with Adreno 660 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM up to 18GB and UFS 3.1 storage up to 512GB. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth 5.2 and two USB Type-C ports. The device comes in two 2,750 mAh units with fast charging support up to 90W that can be connected via two USB Type-C ports. A port connection for this 5,500 mAh battery provides 65W fast charging.
The device has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64A image sensor with f / 1.9 lens and a 16-megapixel sensor with f / 2.2 ultra wide angle lens. On the front of the smartphone is a 44-megapixel Samsung GH1 + sensor with f / 2.0 lens. This camera is housed in a pop-up setup on the right side of the display. It lets you stream live video while gaming in landscape orientation.
The Lenovo Legion Phone Dual 2 comes with an electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor and 3D motion sensor. The device comes with gaming features that include dual-optics X-axis haptic vibration linear motors, quad ultrasonic holder buttons, dual pressure touch buttons and dual capacitance keys. Integrative active cooling is provided in the dual fan cooling system. The intake fan comes with a capacity of 12,500 rpm and the exhaust fan with a capacity of 15,000 rpm. The device also has a vapor chamber liquid cooling system.
