Huawei has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Huawei Y7a. The device was launched in the Malaysian market. This is a mid range smartphone. The Huawei Y7a is powered by a mid-range Kirin 710A processor. The smartphone features a 6.67-inch display, a quad rear camera setup and a 5,000 mAh battery.

The Huawei Y7a has a 6.67-inch display with a punch-hole design. The display has 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD + resolution. It is an IPS LCD panel with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. The Punch-Hole has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. This camera also comes with an f / 2.2 aperture lens.
There are cameras. The primary sensor in this camera setup is 48 MP. The sensor comes with an f / 1.8 aperture lens. Huawei has added an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor with 120 degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor with f / 2.4 aperture and another 2MP sensor for depth mapping in the device's rear camera setup.
The Huawei Y7a smartphone is powered by an octa core high silicon Kirin 710A processor. This device is only available in a single variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device also comes with a microSD card slot for expanding storage up to 512 GB. The company has also provided 22.5W fast charging support on the device with a 5,000 mAh unit.
The Huawei Y7a smartphone runs on Android 10 based EMUI 10.1 skin. Huawei mobile service is set up on the device instead of Google services. The device also has a Huawei App Gallery. Connectivity options on the Huawei Y7a include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.
Huawei Y7a: Price and Availability
The Huawei Y7A with 4GB of RAM will be sold in Malaysia for RM799 (approximately Rs. 14,000). Available in Blush Gold, Midnight Black and Crushed Green. From the features it is clear that this smartphone is great for general use like media consumption, web browsing and gaming. It is not yet clear when the device will be launched in the Indian market.
